$300K C10 Truck
Pickups and utility vehicles have become akin to prewar coupes in the Hot Rodding business, making use of the two-seat cab layout and open bed area behind it to create a great final result. If this particular 1967 Chevrolet C10 Custom looks familiar, it has already been showcased as a 2019 Goodguys “Truck of the Year – Late” finalist, earned a Goodguys Nationals Builder's Choice award in 2019 and claimed a Top 25 at Shades of the Past out of 2,800 entries. Simply looking at it immediately displays the quality of care taken on its creation, and this level of detail is more than skin-deep.
The outside shines in PPG Switchblade Silver paint, with metallic bumpers and a customized grille. Open the doors to find a unique interior done in a rich chocolate brown material, with bucket seats, the center console with a sliding cover for the shift panel, pushbutton start, a smoothed dash panel with custom gauges, Pioneer audio equipment and power windows. Behind this is the wood bed with a smoothed tailgate, wood slating and a custom floor door to access the detailed undercarriage. The body is lowered and smoothed, and it rides on Billet Specialties 10-spoke wheels that wear thin-profile modern redline tires. Any project of this magnitude requires dedication, and the honors this C10 has been granted reflect what was already done with it. This sale is your opportunity to continue its legacy going forward.
Under the hood is a GM LS3 525 HP engine, highly detailed in a gunmetal-toned bay with a Speed Master intake featuring screened-over intake runners and Holley EFI. Also here, one sees carefully polished accessories, custom bay panels, an inset firewall, ribbed valve covers and more. Behind this is a 4L60E automatic transmission with a console-mounted PCS pushbutton operating system and a 9-inch Currie rear end. The project was built on a custom chassis, which uses RideTech suspension with adjustable coilovers and 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes.
